The growing need of masters program for a better career was felt by the institution and commenced M. Pharmacy program in the year 2011-12, offering a two – year full time Post Graduate Programme in Pharmaceutical sciences ,approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE),New Delhi . Pharmacy Council of India (PCI),New Delhi, Government of Telangana and Affiliated to Kakatiya University.
With the increasing demands of pharmaceutical industry and research, we are also planning to offer other branches of Post graduate program in the coming years. The M. Pharmacy program offered with various specializations by the institution.

Pharmaceutics : 18 seats

Pharmaceutical Management & Regulatory Affiars : 18 seats

Industrial Pharmacy : 18

Seats Pharmaceutical Analysis : 18 seats

Duration

The course of study including submission of dissertation on the topic registered shall be of 24 months (Two years) duration from the commencement of academic term.

 

Eligibility

A candidate who has passed B.Pharmacy degree examination of any recognized Indian University established by law in India or any other degree courses in pharmacy recognized as equivalent by Kakathiya University or Pharmacy Council of India.(PCI) and/or All India Council of Technical Education (A I.C.T.E,) for this purpose and who has secured not less than 50% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years) prescribed for the qualifying examination shall be eligible for admission to the M.Pharmacy course.

 

Attendance

A minimum of 75% in both theory and practical (regular) class is essential to be eligible for sessional as well as annual exam.

 

Course of study

The study of M.Pharmacy course shall be of Semester system that includes four semesters in 2 years.

Part I – extending for twelve months from the commencement of academic term which includes four papers per semester. At the end of every semester there shall be a university examination for M.Pharmacy Part-I.

Part II – twelve months of duration. At the end of M.Pharmacy Part-II, the candidate shall submit a dissertation on the topic approved by the university.
